Hey everyone, it's Cecilia again!
Today, let's take a moment to look back and see what's been happening:
This week, I've been thinking a lot about what valuable changes I can make. So, I've been checking out other small businesses on social media to see how they're improving their customer service. Finally, I found a point to focus on – revamping my packaging. 🎁
Before, I used plain packaging boxes or bags without any fancy prints. But I learned that good packaging can enhance the unboxing experience for my customers. So, I decided to innovate in two areas:
First, I revamped the packaging for my mystery boxes. I always thought mystery box products could be a great direction, but unattractive packaging might ruin the mystery vibe. So, I switched the packaging for my Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, and My Melody mystery boxes to paper bags, each featuring the corresponding character.
Wow, they look amazing! I believe this kind of packaging will bring even more joy to my customers. 🌟
Secondly, I worked on the packaging for shipments. Initially, I couldn't find any particularly appealing shipping boxes, but luck was on my side. I finally found two types of packaging boxes. While the box sizes weren't ideal, I think many orders can be switched to these interesting packaging boxes. Similarly, I feel these boxes better match the vibe of my shop. 🛍️
Although I didn't do much this week, I consider these packaging updates as progress.
As for the number of orders, thanks to the Facebook ad methods I learned on YouTube and some AI-made ad images, I've been getting at least one order almost every day recently. I see this as another step forward. Now, it seems like the next thing to do is to start learning some financial knowledge because I want to know if I'm making a profit based on the current ad spend. Also, I'm thinking that sharing my journey of starting a business through Shopify might be a good direction to share. Anyone interested on this topic?
That's all for my thoughts this week. Let's catch up again next week! 📦✨
