🌟 Exciting News and Small Victories! 🌟
Hello everyone, it's me, Cecilia again! 🌸
It's that time of the week again when I give you all an update. Actually, this week was relatively uneventful, with everything just chugging along as usual. But even in the ordinary, there are a few small things I can share with you all.
Firstly, on Tuesday through Thursday, about 20 orders suddenly came in from the Shopify shop app to my store.📈Although they were all small-dollar orders (none of them exceeded $10 including shipping, and many were even under $5), I was genuinely surprised and delighted. It's the first time I've felt the charm of doing business. Previously, it was slow, just a few orders trickling in, you can imagine. But these past few days, orders were coming in quick, sometimes even three in an hour. The sound of order notifications was constant, and let me tell you, it was too exciting! I truly felt the anticipation, the rush of adrenaline, like having a few cups of Americano - my head felt a bit light. But this good situation only lasted for three days. I guess Shop platform did a little promotion for us small sellers, so I promptly packed and shipped, hoping to maintain a good rating on the Shop system for future benefits.🚀
Secondly, I'm not sure if I mentioned it before, but my YouTube channel is now monetized, and I'm really happy about it! Although there's still a lot of room for improvement in my videos, I see this as a big encouragement. Even though the earnings from YouTube Shorts aren't much, I believe if I continue making good videos, the profits generated on YouTube will definitely help me go further! As long as I don't give up even for a single day, I don't consider it a failure. The only thing that might make me give up is if my entrepreneurial income can't support my life anymore and I exhaust my little savings. Now with YouTube as a monetization channel, I believe the possibility of a big failure in the end is steadily decreasing. And now the viewership during YouTube live streams is slowly increasing, hopefully one day I can turn them into my customers! Oh, and because my YouTube subscribers have increased, I actually received a collaboration invitation email from a game publisher.🎮 After thinking for a while, I quoted them $100 for a Shorts💰, not sure if that's too high. They replied saying they need to consider. I aim to achieve over 20k views for them, and 0.05 dollars per view doesn't seem unreasonable, right? But I'm just happy to receive an invitation, and hopefully other companies will invite me in the future.
So, that's pretty much what happened this week. Any suggestions from you esteemed shareholders, feel free to share, and I'll report back to you all next week!
Love you all! 💖
